Apex laboratories was originally started by a group of pharmaceutical executives in Chennai in 1978 and thereafter since 1982 has been under the leadership of Mr. S. S. Vanangamudi who is heading the company as the Managing Director. The company is a pioneer in the introduction of Zinc based formulations in India and continues to be the brand leader in its segment. The companys growth is powered by its focus on quality products, marketing strength, with 100% ethical marketing and a strong prescription base.
